What is With Consent?
With Consent is an adult visual novel developed by JayW-NTS that explores the boundaries of a loving relationship through the lens of consensual non-monogamy. In this game you follow John, a software developer, and Sarah, a university student who have shared a committed and affectionate partnership for nearly three years. When Sarah departs for a weekend at the beach with friends, John begins experiencing vivid dreams that surface his previously unacknowledged desires for sharing and voyeurism. The title stands out in the adult games directory for its firm emphasis on open communication, enthusiastic consent, and mutual exploration rather than deception or coercion.
Players can customize both protagonists’ names, allowing deeper personal investment in the couple’s journey. The narrative progresses only along paths rooted in trust, making With Consent a refreshing entry in the netorase and hotwife genres.
Story and Characters
The core narrative of With Consent revolves around a couple who deliberately choose to expand their sexual horizons together. John’s insistent dreams act as a catalyst, prompting honest conversations with Sarah upon her return. Instead of conflict, the pair engages in detailed discussions about boundaries, desires, and aftercare. Their relationship is portrayed as genuinely loving; affection, respect, and frequent check-ins form the backbone of every new experience.
Supporting characters include Sarah’s beach-going friends and various individuals the couple meets as they experiment with swinging, exhibitionism, and interracial encounters. Each interaction is framed through the couple’s mutual agreement, ensuring that every scene serves the overarching theme of consensual discovery. Optional humiliation elements can be toggled according to player preference, offering tailored intensity without breaking the established trust between John and Sarah.
Gameplay and Mechanics
With Consent uses a choice-driven visual novel format where decisions primarily influence scene selection, dialogue tone, and the inclusion of specific kinks rather than branching into multiple endings. The mechanics focus on guiding the couple’s shared journey while maintaining narrative coherence. Players select dialogue options that reflect John’s honesty with Sarah, choose which activities they wish to explore, and decide the level of voyeuristic or participatory elements.
Key mechanics include:
- Consent toggles that lock or unlock optional humiliation, degradation, or more intense dominance themes
- Relationship meters that track emotional closeness between John and Sarah after each encounter
- Scene replay gallery that unlocks 3DCG animations once discovered
- Preference sliders for the amount of swinging, exhibitionism, group play, and interracial content
The game avoids punitive failure states; every path is designed to deepen the protagonists’ bond when approached with communication.
Visuals, Animation, and Production
With Consent features high-quality 3DCG animations created in version 4.0.1. The rendered scenes are detailed, with realistic lighting, fluid character movement, and expressive facial animations that convey both lust and emotional connection. Oral sex, group sex, exhibitionist moments, and interracial encounters are depicted with particular attention to anatomy and motion.
The visual style strikes a balance between cinematic realism and stylized adult presentation. Character models for John and Sarah are fully customizable in skin tone, hair, and body proportions. Background locations range from the couple’s modern apartment to beach resorts, luxury hotels, and private swingers’ venues. Sound design includes ambient tracks, realistic Foley effects, and optional voice acting snippets that heighten immersion during key animated sequences.
